A Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions

In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.

K-Bessel functions associated to a 3-rank Jordan algebra

Bessel functions of matrix argument appeared as a subject of studies in the work of Herz [6]. One can find in the multivariate statistics literature some applications of these functions (see [11]). The main tool of Herz’s work was the Laplace transform and its inverse in the space of real symmetric matrices. He obtained several properties but a “good” differential system was lacking. This was t...

Starlike and Convex Properties for Hypergeometric Functions

The purpose of the present paper is to give some characterizations for a Gaussian hypergeometric function to be in various subclasses of starlike and convex functions. We also consider an integral operator related to the hypergeometric function.

Sufficiency for Gaussian Hypergeometric Functions to Be Uniformly Convex

Let F(a,b;c;z) be the classical hypergeometric function and f be a normalized analytic functions defined on the unit disk . Let an operator Ia,b;c(f ) be defined by [Ia,b;c(f )](z)= zF(a,b;c;z)∗f(z). In this paper the authors identify two subfamilies of analytic functions 1 and 2 and obtain conditions on the parameters a,b,c such that f ∈ 1 implies Ia,b;c(f )∈ 2.

Generalized Hypergeometric Functions and Associated Families of k-Uniformly Convex and k-Starlike Functions

In this lecture, we aim at presenting a certain linear operator which is defined by means of the Hadamard product (or convolution) with a generalized hypergeometric function and then investigating its various mapping as well as inclusion properties involving such subclasses of analytic and univalent functions as (for example) k-uniformly convex functions and k-starlike functions. Relevant conne...
